Clinical Waste Collections
The Council can provide a free Clinical Waste Collection Service. The service includes the provision of clinical waste sacks (either yellow with a black stripe or orange depending on the type of waste) and yellow lidded sharps boxes (for sharps such as epi-pens and diabetic syringes). To ensure we understand the type of waste we are collecting we require your Community Nurse, GP or Consultant to indicate the type of waste being produced and to sign the form.
If you require a clinical waste collection to be set up please download, print and complete the Clinical Waste Collection Application Form (56.60KB pdf)
Or you can call and we will send you the form. (contact information below)
