Good Neighbours West Sussex - Royal Voluntary Service
The Good Neighbours service provides support to older people who are living alone and socially isolated. Volunteers visit on a weekly basis, helping clients to build self-confidence and remain active and involved in their community.
This may include supporting a client on short walks, helping them to get out and about or attend a local group, or visiting them at home for some company and a chat. And since everyone is different, we will work with each client to find the right volunteer and assistance to meet their individual needs.
The service is open to individuals aged 55 and over who would benefit from short-term support for up to 12 visits.
