Stroke Association - Family & Carer Support Service
The Family & Carer Support Service is a visiting service which provides information, literature and emotional support for families of stroke patients, and for stroke patients who live alone. The service aims to provide support which will enable families caring for a stroke patient to cope with the practical and emotional problems of disability, optimising quality of life for both family and patient. The service covers the Princess Royal, Kleinwort and Queen Victoria Hospitals. Monthly carers groups are run in Cuckfield and East Grinstead and there is a communication support service which has groups in Cuckfield and East Grinstead.
