Clinical Waste Collections
The Council can provide a free Clinical Waste Collection Service. The service includes the provision of clinical waste sacks (either yellow with a black stripe or orange depending on the type of waste) and yellow lidded sharps boxes (for sharps such as epi-pens and diabetic syringes). Assisted Collection Service for Rubbish and Recycling, and/or Garden Waste.
The Council can provide an Assisted Collection Service to help residents with the collection of rubbish and recycling and / or garden waste (if the resident subscribes to the garden waste service). Collection can be made from an agreed location within the boundary of the property of those residents who are unable to take their waste out to the edge of their property and are unable to get help from family, friends, or neighbours to do so. ..
