Cuckfield Stroke Communication Group
We meet weekly on a Wednesday morning 10am. - 12.15pm. at Queen’s Hall, Cuckfield. Our aim is to help people with speech difficulties (aphasia) following a stroke or other neurological conditions. We have fun with singing, miming, drawing, gesturing, drumming, Qi Gong, games and quizzes. We have a monthly art group and a Speech Therapist visiting and these are just a few of our activities. All are designed to encourage participation and rebuild self confidence, enhance any speech or find other ways to communicate. We arrange a summer outing and Christmas lunch.
